Get set for Oriental Cookery Young Chef of the Year 2015
The closing date for our 2015 Oriental Cookery Young Chef of the Year competition is fast approaching (14th January 2015).
Now in it's third year, the competition offers the UK's finest, young culinary talent the opportunity to showcase their skills before a renowned panel of judges.
Adding to the trusted panel of judges this year is MasterChef finalist Larkin Cen, director of Asian food innovation Hokkei.
He joins head judge and President of the British Culinary Federation, Peter Griffiths and Michelin-starred chef and owner of Purnell's in Birmingham, Glynn Purnell.
Essex chef Robert Hall won the coveted 2014 title along with an exclusive trip to Hong Kong where he experienced kitchen life in some of the region's most acclaimed eateries. (Find out more about his trip here).
Entrants looking to enter the 2015 competition must be aged between 18 and 25 years and studying or employed in the catering and hospitality industry. For more information and to download an application pack, click here.
