Ingredients
113g butter
113g castor sugar
142g self raising flour
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp sesame seeds
Cooking Method
Step 1
Melt butter and allow to brown
Step 2
Cool slightly, add sugar and beat well.
Step 3
Add egg, vanilla essence and beat again.
Step 4
Add flour and mix well.
Step 5
Roll the mixture into small balls about the size of a walnut, if mixture is too soft spoon onto tray using 2 teaspoons.
Step 6
Place mixture on a baking tray allowing room for biscuits to spread.
Step 7
Place a sprinkling of sesame seeds on top of each biscuit.
Step 8
Bake in moderate oven for approximately 10-12 minutes.
