Ingredients
1 whole sea bass, bream or red snapper (de-scaled and cleaned)
2 tbsp Wing Yip Light Soya Sauce
1 tsp Wing Yip Sesame Oil
1 tbsp shredded ginger (use fresh ginger)
1/2 jar Wing Yip Ginger & Spring Onion Sauce
1 spring onion (shredded and soaked in iced water)
1 tbsp peanut oil
Cooking Method
Step 1
Line baking dish with foil and lightly oil.
Step 2
Cut 2/3 slits on each side of the fish and rub shredded ginger into slits and belly of fish. Drizzle with sesame oil and light soya sauce and bake in a hot oven until fish is cooked (10-15 minutes).
Step 3
In a small pan heat Wing Yip Ginger and Spring Onion Sauce until it boils. Add 1/2 jar of water and continue cooking for approximately 3 minutes.
Step 4
When the fish is done transfer it from baking tray to a warm platter and drizzle with the hot sauce.
Step 5
Dry spring onion on kitchen paper and place on fish to garnish.
