Ingredients
900g pork spareribs
1 jar (185ml) Wing Yip Yellow Bean Sauce
2 tsp minced garlic paste (or use fresh)
2 tsp minced ginger (or use fresh)
2 tbsp peanut or vegetable oil
Cooking Method
Step 1
Place pork ribs in a pan of water and bring to the boil. Cook uncovered for approximately 10 minutes and drain.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large wok and fry minced garlic and ginger. Do not allow to burn.
Step 3
Add spare ribs and mix in the Wing Yip Yellow Bean Sauce.Fill sauce jar with equal amount of water and add this to the wok.
Step 4
Cover and braise ribs slowly. At this stage you may place in a oven proof casserole dish and cook ribs in the oven.
Step 5
If you choose to cook in the wok, keep adding water and cook slowly for approximately 40 minutes or until ribs are tender.
